Cuba summons U.S. Charge de Affaires for disrespectful behavior

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the U.S. Chargé d'Affaires this Friday, May 30th, to draw his attention, once again, to the meddling and unfriendly behavior he has displayed since arriving in Cuba, which is unbecoming of a diplomat and disrespectful to the Cuban people.

Cuban ambassador participates in Belize National Agriculture and Commerce Fair 2025

Belmopan, May 30, 2025 - The Ambassador of Cuba, María Caridada Balaguer, participated in the inauguration of the Belize National Agriculture and Commerce Fair 2025, which was presided over by the Honorable Abelardo Mai, Minister of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprises.

Outstanding farmers were awarded in the female, male, and youth categories, who excelled in their productive results during the year 2024, as well as outstanding farms and companies in the sector, vital for the country's development.

Cuba’s Ambassador to UNESCO signs Book of Condolences in tribute to comrade Tran Duc Luong, former President of Vietnam

Paris, 30 May 2025. The Ambassador of Cuba and Permanent Delegate to UNESCO, H.E. María del Carmen Herrera Caseiro, signed the Book of Condolences at the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Paris on the passing of H.E. Mr. Tran Duc Luong, former member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party and former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

On behalf of the Cuban Party, Government, and people, as well as the Permanent Delegation of Cuba to UNESCO, the Ambassador conveyed heartfelt condolences to the Party, Government, and people of Vietnam, and to the family of the dear comrade and friend.

GEOCUBA and local entrepreneur sign two agreements to develop projects of potential interest to both countries.

Nassau, May 29, 2025. Representatives of the GeoCuba business group and Cuba Rum Cake Factory Ltd. spent several days developing a work program to explore and define sectors of mutual interest to both parties.

As an initial result of interesting discussions and meetings that included other entities in the country, such as the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers' Confederation, two agreements were signed that facilitate the initiation of potential actions in common areas, which the various companies comprising the Cuban entity and its Bahamian counterpart can implement.
