Tennan Creeck graduation demonstrates effectiveness of Cuban method"Yo si puedo" in Australia

El metodo cubano "Yo si puedo" se usa para la enseñanza de la lectoescritura en población aborigen australiana desde hace más de 10 años. La fundación Literacy for Life lleva adelante este hermoso proyecto donde participan cooperantes cubanos, con experiencia en el trabajo en comunidades de difícil acceso.
Hasta el momento más de 400 personas de los más alejados territorios australianos han sido alfabetizados con el método cubano.
Cuban Ambassador participates in innovators' event sponsored by the Government of the Australian Capital
Canberra, December 6, 2023. The Cuban Ambassador participated today in a fair event of innovators sponsored by the authorities of the Australian capital. The event was conducive to exchange with different entrepreneurs on their innovation projects as well as to learn about the potential for development of bilateral relations in this area.
Cuban Embassy receives recognition from the authorities of the Australian Capital.
Canberra, December 5, 2023. The Cuban Ambassador to the southern country participated in an end of year activity organized by the Government of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). During the event the diplomat received a recognition from the ACT on behalf of the Embassy for the participation and support to the different events of the ACT, in particular the participation in the Floriade Festival and the Window to the World.

During the meeting, the diplomat expressed her appreciation for Australia's position on the resolution against the blockade, as well as exchanged on issues of mutual interest for the development of bilateral relations.
Cuban Ambassador meets with her counterparts from small Pacific island states
Canberra. December 1st, 2023. At the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy, a meeting was held with the diplomatic representatives of the small island states of the Pacific. The representatives were received by the Cuban Ambassador in the southern country, who conveyed greetings on behalf of the Cuban authorities and thanked the position of the islands against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.
