Young Cubans exchange with national authorities of the Maritime Union of Australia
Sydney. August 7, 2023. At the headquarters of the Maritime Union of Australia, young Cubans Ivan Barreto and Marianniz Diaz, exchanged with national executives of the organization.
At the meeting, the representatives of this Australian trade union organization ratified their commitment and support to the Cuban people and exchanged on various issues of the Cuban reality and the difficult context imposed by the U.S. blockade towards the Caribbean island.

This afternoon an event was held at the headquarters of the Greek Orthodox Community to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks. The activity, which was attended by the Cuban Ambassador to Australia, was attended by almost a hundred participants.
Cubans residents in Australia hold Afrekete 2023 Festival

Melbourne, August 1st, 2023. This afternoon an event on Cuba was held at one of the AEU headquarters. The event included a presentation on the impact of the U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba by Ivan Barreto, a young professional representing ICAP.
Likewise, the scientist Marianniz Díaz made a dissertation on Cuba's achievements in confronting Covid-19. For her part, the Cuban Ambassador referred to the process followed for the approval of the Family Code and its advanced content.
