Ambassador and Third Secretary participate in reception on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of UAE Union Day
Canberra, 28 November, 2023. The Ambassador Tanieris Diéguez and the Third Secretary of the Embassy, Ivianes González, participated in the reception on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the United Arab Emirates Union Day.
Both officials ratified the will to continue strengthening bilateral relations and the ties of friendship and cooperation existing between both countries and Missions.
Itinerant Consulate in Melbourne
Melbourne, 25 November 2023. The Cuban Consular Section in Australia traveled to the city of Melbourne this weekend to carry out a movil consulate in order to bring consular processing and management closer to the Cuban community residing in that city.
Consultations were held on various topics, including the new matters related to the Family Code, as well as other issues related to the measures adopted by the Cuban government that came into force on July 1st.

Melbourne commemorates the 7th Anniversary of the physical disappearance of the Commander-in-Chief.
Melbourne, 25 November 2023. The Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia chaired a public event hosted by the Australian Cuba Friendship Society in Melbourne in conjunction with the Cuban Embassy in commemoration of the 7th Anniversary of the physical disappearance of the Commander-in-Chief of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.
Association of Cubans living in Melbourne is reactivated.
Melbourne, 25 December 2023. As part of the activities carried out this weekend in the city of Melbourne, and taking advantage of the occasion of the itinerant Consulate held in that city, the Association of Cubans living in Melbourne was reactivated.
In an exchange in which the Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia participated, the Cuban nationals present agreed to resume the activities of the association, with the aim of highlighting the values and traditions of our country in the Australian territory.
