The Cuban Workers' Central Union, its National Trade Unions and the Cuban workers, transmit the warmest, solidarity greetings to the NUPW Annual Conference.

Cuba, a country that is characterized by promoting solidarity relations, which is identified by its way of thinking and acting, with sovereignty and independence, aims to maintain the solid and traditional ties of friendship that the NUPW has had for many years with the Cuban trade union movement.

Barbadian Public Workers received greeting from World Federation of Trade Unions

The World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) and its Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean sent a letter of congratulations to the National Union of Public Employees (NUPW) of Barbados in the framework of the Annual Conference. The message addressed to its president, Akanni McDowall, was read at its headquarters in Dalkeith Road by Cuban Ambassador Francisco Fernandez, who highlighted the leadership and militancy of the Caribbean Union in defense of workers and the message of solidarity of the working class. Minister of Social Development discusses Cuban cooperation in Alzheimer.

The Honorable Steven Blackett, Minister of Social Development of Barbados, welcomed Cuban Ambassador Francisco Fernandez to continue the discussion on Cuba's offer related to a technical assistance project with a view to developing a strategy and a national plan of effective confrontation mental illnesses such as Alzheimer and Dementia.

Finalized CARICOM-Cuba Meeting: Integration as a common cause

The 5th CARICOM Ministerial Meeting - Cuba met on Saturday with the presence of 17 senior officials from the bilateral mechanism. In the capital Havana Hotel Libre, representatives of the region discussed key issues for integration, cooperation and sustainable development of the Caribbean.
