Gaborone, Cuban Ambassador H.E. Patricia L. Pego Guerra attends the “Meet and Greet Session”, hosted by the Honourable Ministry of International Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Botswana, to officially introduce Dr. Lemogang Kwape, as new Minister, to all heads of diplomatic missions and international organisations resident in Gaborone.
Dr. Kwape expressed gratitude to the international community for rendering support to Botswana during the pandemic.

The Embassy of Cuba to Botswana congratulates and wishes success to the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) on its 40th Ordinary Summit of Heads of States and Governments, virtually hosted by the Republic of Mozambique.
President of Mozambique H.E Filipe Jacinto Nyusi assumes the SADC Chairpersonship until August 2021.
The SADC Summit is responsible for the overall policy direction and control of functions of the community, ultimately making it the policy-making institution of SADC.
