Cuban Ambassador to Canada gives interview to Dalhousie Gazette
Ottawa, October 24, 2019.- On Thursday afternoon, the Ambassador of Cuba to Canada, Josefina Vidal, gave an interview to the Dalhousie University newspaper in Halifax, Dalhousie Gazette.
In the interview, the Cuban Ambassador commented on her expectations for the symposium "The Cuban Revolution in its 60 Years", which will take place between October 31 and November 2 at Dalhousie University, with the participation of forty academics and political analysts of international renown from Cuba, Canada, the United States and Great Britain.
Association of Cubans residing in Ottawa requests Canada's support for Cuba's resolution against the Blockade

Ottawa, October 16, 2019.- The associations of Cubans residing in Canada sent a letter to the Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chrystia Freeland, in which they requested that Ottawa maintains its traditional support to the resolution against the blockade of the United States, which Cuba will present once again to the General Assembly of the United Nations on November 6 and 7.
Cuban Minister of Tourism visits Canada
Ottawa, October 8, 2019.- The Cuban Minister of Tourism, Mr. Manuel Marrero Cruz made a working visit to Montreal and Toronto to promote the high tourist season in Cuba.
The Cuban Minister met with tour operators and airlines such as WesJet, Transat, Air Canada and Sunwing. In both cities he made presentations to the directors of these entities in events that also brought together dozens of travel agents and journalists from general and specialized media, to whom he updated on the current situation, perspectives and priorities of tourism development in Cuba. As the Minister stated, Cuba will continue to be a peaceful, healthy and safe tourist destination for all visitors.
