Cuba participates in the 37th Annual Meeting of the Governing Council of the Common Fund for Commodities

The Hague, December 10, 2025. On December 9 and 10, the 37th Annual Meeting of the Governing Council of the Common Fund for Commodities was held in The Hague.

Cuba reiterated its commitment to the Fund's objectives and praised the work carried out by the Fund, as well as the progress made in implementing projects that contribute to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, in particular, the fight against climate change, the empowerment of women, and food sovereignty.

Cuba emphasized its commitment to the Charter of the United Nations and the International Law and its firm rejection of impunity for crimes that seriously affect the international community.

Cuba participated in the Associated Program of the OPCW

The Hague, September 26, 2024. Cuba participated in the Associated Program of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), created to contribute to a greater understanding of the objectives of the Chemical Weapons Convention and promote employment of chemistry for peaceful purposes, with emphasis on physical security in relation to chemicals.

Embassy of Cuba participated in the Night of Rum and Tobacco

The Hague, July 5, 2024 The Embassy of Cuba in the Netherlands was present at the Rum and Tobacco Night, which took place on July 5, 2024 in The Hague.

The traditional event, organized by Diplomat Magazine, this year was attended by the embassies of Colombia, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Cuba.

The occasion was propitious for Latin American countries to dazzle those present with their exquisite rums and tobaccos.
