Port of Spain, August 15, 2023. This morning, the donation of copies of books in Spanish made by the José Martí National Library (BNJM) was delivered to the National Library and Information System of Trinidad and Tobago (NALIS ) as part of the actions carried out after the signing last July of a Memorandum of Understanding between both institutions.
Nassau, December 30th, 2019. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas sent congratulation to the Cuban Embassy in this capital on the occasion of celebrating a new anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution.
In its communication, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed the commitment of its government to work together with its Cuban counterpart to deepen relations between the two countries and strive for a more prosperous and secure future.

The Bahamas, 25 June 2019. A few months ahead the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and the Republic of Cuba, the Cuban Ambassador to The Bahamas, Ismara M. Vargas Walter, used the words “friendship, solidarity and respect” to describe the relationship.
Nassau, March 31, 2019. Cuba was one of 13 nations chosen and represented in the Bahamian edition of the Model United Nations (MUN) 2019, held on March 29 in the capital of this Caribbean nation. The event, of annual frequency, had the active participation of students from different islands of the Bahamian archipelago and illustrious figures of the academic sector, who acted as judges together with officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Radio Hosts on political issues.
