Luxembourg, September 4, 2024. The Cuban Ambassador, Anet Pino Rivero, as part of her visit to Luxembourg, held a meeting with Ms. Djuna Bernard, member of the Luxembourg parliament, representative of The Green party.
The Cuban Ambassador offered relevant data on the economic and social situation in Cuba, highlighting the effects caused by the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the United States Government against Cuba and the unjust inclusion of Cuba in the List of Sponsors of Terrorism. Its unilateral and inhumane nature was evident.

Pino Rivero offered her interlocutor an update on the economic and social situation in Cuba, highlighting the effects caused by the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the United States Government against Cuba and the unjust inclusion of Cuba in the List of Countries Sponsors of Terrorism.

Mr. Di Bartolomeo has an important role in the interparliamentary relations between Luxembourg and Cuba. On this occasion, the parties discussed the state of bilateral and parliamentary relations, as well as future steps to strengthen existing ties.

The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce is an institution that promotes and encourages economic and commercial relations between Luxembourg and other countries of the world. For this reason, topics of common interest were addressed, such as the identification of economic and commercial sectors that allow promoting relations between Luxembourg and Cuba in this area.

This morning, the donation of copies of books in Spanish made by the José Martí National Library (BNJM) was delivered to the National Library and Information System of Trinidad and Tobago (NALIS ) as part of the actions carried out after the signing last July of a Memorandum of Understanding between both institutions.
