Castries, August 23, 2025 – With the presence of the Minister of Public Service, Interior, Labor, and Gender Affairs, Virginia Albert Poyotte, the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two nations was commemorated in Saint Lucia.

At the invitation of Her Excellency Yenielys Vilma Regueiferos Linares, Cuban Ambassador to Saint Lucia, I had the honor of receiving a courtesy visit along with Shannon Lebourne, First Vice President of the SLBA.
We were also accompanied by Cuban specialist trainer Yunior Quintero and the director of the Ministry of Sports, Mr. Dane Magloire.
