Dear friends,

With deep humanistic conviction, the government and people of Cuba offer the world, once again, the example of militant Solidarity at a time when the planet is facing the global pandemic of the new Coronavirus Sars Cov-2, Covid-19, which has already claimed the lives of more than 70 thousand people in the world in a very short time.

The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejects alleged drug trafficking operations through diplomatic note

On 13th April 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba has issued a diplomatic note to the Embassy of the United States in Havana rejecting a statement published in an article by Newsweek magazine on 3rd April 2020 attributed to a "high official" of the United States Department of Defence and according to whom "the United States Intelligence Community has evidence" that drugs are trafficked between Venezuela and Cuba.

Diaz-Canel: We can contribute more to saving human lives by acting with responsibility

"We can contribute more to saving human lives by acting with responsibility," insisted the President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, yesterday afternoon, April 8, during the daily meeting to evaluate the epidemiological situation in the country and implementation plans to control propagation of the new coronavirus in the country.

The Prime Minister announced the decision to indefinitely extend due dates for electricity, water and gas bills, in order to close public offices where payment for these services is normally made.

HeberFERON, a unique Cuban medicine

The extension of therapeutic coverage to all municipalities across the country, with the opening of more sites, is the key strategy in the application program for HeberFERON; a one-of-a-kind medicine to treat skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma), developed and produced by Cuba’s Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB).

Venezuela expresses from Vietnam its support for Cuban health internationalism

The Embassy of  Venezuela in Vietnam expressed its recognition to the Cuban health internationalism , through a message on social networks in support of the Caribbean country medical missions.

"Venezuela knows very well that Cuba saves lives. Long live Cuban solidarity ! Long live Fidel! We will always be grateful for the help and love from the Cuban people, ” the Bolivarian representation said on  Twitter, on behalf of the diplomatic staff of the Embassy and its military attaché.
