The Embassy of Venezuela in Vietnam expressed its recognition to the Cuban health internationalism , through a message on social networks in support of the Caribbean country medical missions.

In the urgent pursuit of effective therapies against the aggressive Coronavirus (Covid19) disease, the People´s Republic of China applied different treatment schemes in medical practice such as the case of the Interferon alfa-2b recombinant, together with a range of other antiretroviral. This practice has also been recommended by the Chinese Pharmacological Society Experts Consensus, the Johns Hopkins Medical Center Guides in Baltimore, a Technical Document from the Ministry of Health of Spain, among others from different countries and international organizations.
Havana, march 26, 2020.- Francisco Durán, director of epidemiology at the Ministry of Public Health, reported in a press conference that the 45-year-old Russian citizen hospitalized in Cuba, had died from complications associated with Covid-19 and other chronic conditions, in this case a history of Type II diabetes mellitus, despite a concerted effort on the part of a team of doctors.
Of the 67 patients diagnosed with the disease, 64 remain hospitalized, including two in critical condition.

Cuba to receive British cruise ship MS Braemar
Last March 13, the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland requested from the Cuban authorities that MS Braemar, a member of the Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, be authorized to dock in a Cuban port and that its passengers, a small number of which have been affected by the novel coronavirus (SARS CoV 2/Covid-19), be cleared for repatriation by air.
