FAREWELL OF THE ETHIOPIAN PRESIDENT IN HIS OFFICIAL VISIT TO CUBA
Addis Abeba, January 8, 2018. The President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Dr. Mulatu Teshome traveled in the early hours of this morning to Cuba to paid an Official Visit of four days.
The Cuban Ambassador to the African Union, H.E. Mr. Angel Villa and the First Secretary of the Cuban diplomatic mission Mr. Germán Acosta, bid farewell to the Ethiopian dignitary at Bole´s International Airport.
PRESIDENT OF ETHIOPIA WILL VISIT CUBA
Addis Abeba. The President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Dr. Mulatu Teshome, will paid an Official Visit to Cuba in response to the invitation sent by the President of the Council of State and Ministers of Cuba, Raúl Castro Ruz.
The visit will contribute to the further strenghthening of the relations between both countries, particularly the cooperation.
CUBANS AND FRIENDS CELEBRATED THE 59 ANNIVERSARY OF THE REVOLUTION
Addis Abeba. The 59 anniversary of the Cuban Revolution was celebrated in a vibrant event hosted by the Embassy of Cuba in Ethiopia.
The Cuban Ambassador, H.E. Mrs. Vilma Thomas highlighted the results achieved by the Cubans in 2017 and invited them to work hard in 2018 in order to built a prosperous and sustainable socialist society.
In attendance were the staff of the Embassy, the Ethio-Cubans and other friends from various countries.
Cuban Ambassador received by the Mayor of Addis Abeba
Addis Abeba. The Mayor of Addis Ababa (capital of Ethiopia), His Excellency Mr. Diriba Kuma, received the Ambassador of Cuba in Ethiopia, Vilma Thomas at the headquarters of the Municipality. The Cuban Embassy and the Office of the Mayor have a working relationship and the meeting served to promote new ways of exchange between the two parties.
