The Mayor of Addis Abeba received the Cuban Ambassador

Addis Abeba.  The Mayor of Addis Ababa (capital of Ethiopia), His Excellency Mr. Diriba Kuma, received the Ambassador of Cuba in Ethiopia, Vilma Thomas at the headquarters of the Municipality. The Cuban Embassy and the Office of the Mayor have a working relationship and the meeting served to promote new ways of exchange between the two parties.

Addis Abeba.  The new Cuban Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Mrs. Vilma Thomas, has been formally welcomed in the country.  She presented first the Copies of her Credentials to the Ethiopian Foreign Minister, and few days later, she was received in the Presidential Palace, by H.E. Dr. Mulatu Teshome.

Homage to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution in Ethiopia

Addis Abeba, November 25, 2017.  The Cuba Embassy in Ethiopia hosted an event at the Addis Abeba Museum to pay homage to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz.  The speeches delivered by  the guests of honour and the images of Fidel in the photos of his visit to Etiopia in September 1978, were clear expressions of the respect and love of the Cubans and the people of the world for the departed leader.
