Cuba and Ethiopia, new winds for bilateral relations in 2023

Addis Ababa (Prensa Latina) 2023 will be remembered as a year when relations between Cuba and Ethiopia were reinvigorated, as a result of meetings between the highest authorities from both countries that contributed to strengthening those blood-sealed ties.

Ethiopia commemorates the 65th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution

Addis Ababa, December 31, 2023. Members of the Cuban diplomatic and state mission in Ethiopia celebrated the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution together with Cuban residents, members of the Cuban-Ethiopian Friendship Association and friends of the Venezuelan and Nicaraguan Embassies.

Addis Ababa, December 24, 2023. The members of the State Mission of Cuba in Ethiopia participated this Sunday in the sixth Annual Assembly of the Credit and Savings Association of the Ethiopians of the city of Adama. This Association is made up of more than 285 members who make up a Savings and Credit Cooperative that undertakes social aid projects among its participants.

The Official Gazette of the Republic of Cuba published this December 7, Resolution 19/2023 of the Ministry of the Interior, referring to the National List of people and entities that have been subjected to criminal investigations and are wanted by the Cuban authorities, as of of their involvement in the promotion, planning, organization, financing, support or commission of acts carried out in the national territory or in other countries. The regulatory provision includes perpetrators of terrorist acts against Cuba from 1999 to the present.
