Cuba congratulates Vanuatu on the occasion of 40th anniversary of its independence

Suva, July 30. The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez sent a congratulatory message to his counterpart from the Republic of Vanuatu, Tallis Obed Moses, as today marked the 40th anniversary of the independence of that South Pacific island State.

In the letter, President Díaz-Canel reiterated Cuba's will to continue expanding and strengthening ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Cuba denounces usurpation of the clinic by putschist

In the afternoon of July 21, the Bolivian de facto authorities publicly informed that the facility known as “Clínica del Colaborador” (Cooperation Workers’ Clinic), which is owned by the Republic of Cuba and had been raided by law enforcement authorities on November 15, 2019, would be fitted out to assist Bolivian COVID-19 patients.

Havana, July 17, 2020-- This Thursday, in an extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers, the economic-social strategy to boost the economy and face the global crisis caused by the COVID-19 was approved.

At the meeting, the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, made an important speech, which is broadcast on the Round Table program.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba on June 4 issued a statement rejecting and denouncing the actions of political manipulation regarding Cuba's role in the process to achieve peace in Colombia.  

Those actions, clearly set forth in the declaration and previously notified through diplomatic channels to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, provided the pretexts for including Cuba in the spurious list of States that allegedly do not fully cooperate in the United States' efforts against terrorism.
