Cuban President Díaz-Canel congratulates his counterparts from Palau and Tuvalu on the Anniversary of Independence
Suva, October 1, 2020. The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Palau, HE Thomas Remengesau Jr, on the occasion of celebrating the 26th anniversary of independence of that Pacific Island State.
Likewise, the Cuban Head of State congratulated the Honorable Kausea Natano, Prime Minister of Tuvalu, a country that commemorates on this date 42 years of its constitution as an independent State.

The Cuban people and the international community are aware of the dishonest campaign that the government of the United States has launched since 2019 to discredit Cuba’s international medical cooperation; exert pressure on the governments that have asked for it and deprive peoples of these health services.
Cuba ratifies its permanent solidarity with Palau and the Marshall Islands on the fifth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Suva, September 26. The Cuban Ambassador to Fiji, Carlos Manuel Rojas Lago, ratified the permanent solidarity and willingness to expand cooperation with Palau and the Marshall Islands, on the occasion to celebrate this September 26 and 27, respectively, the fifth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with both countries.
