Official Announcement: 4th "Nation and Emigration" Conference
The “78 Dialogue”, promoted by the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz, represented the beginning of a continuous and irreversible rapprochement between Cuba and the Cuban community abroad; it has been strengthened with the passage of time and the holding of three “The Nation and Emigration” Conferences whose fundamental premise was synthesized by Fidel over 4 decades ago when he declared: “(…) the Community must be respected. The Community exists. The Community is a force and the Community is to be taken into account.”
Cuban President received the Prime Minister of Fiji
The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, received the Honorable Josaia Voreque Bainimarama, Prime Minister of the Republic of Fiji.
During the cordial meeting, both leaders exchanged about the good state of bilateral relations and the strengthening of economic and cooperation ties.
Second Edition of the Ibero-American Film Festival in Suva
FIJI, September 30. The Spanish film Box 507, inaugurated the Second Ibero-American Film Festival of Suva.
In his opening remarks, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Spanish Embassy, Daniel Montilla, thanked the presence of the guests and the performance of the event organizers.
The Venezuelan counterpart in Canberra, Daniel Gasparri, highlighted the support received from the Latin American Embassies accredited from Australia, without which, it would not have been possible to carry it out.
The Prime Minister of Fiji will hold official meetings in Cuba
The Prime Minister and Minister of Indigenous Affairs and the Sugar Industry of the Republic of Fiji, the Honorable Josaia Voreque Bainimarama, will make an official visit to Cuba from next October 1st.
The distinguished visitor will hold official conversations with Cuban authorities and carry out other activities.
