The Ambassador of Cuba is received at the Estonian Chamber of Commerce

The Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, was received this Thursday at the Estonian Chamber of Commerce, by Merit Fimberg-Espuch, General Director of Projects. During the exchange, both authorities shared topics of interest for Cuba and Estonia. The Cuban diplomat referred to the new business opportunities that are opening up in the island for the foreign investment and referred to some of the products of the Cuban market with global recognition.

Work of Cuban artists was delivered to the President of Estonia for its National Day

he Cuban plastic artists Denys San Jorge and Sonia Almaguer greeted the President of Estonia, Alar Karis, on the occasion of Estonian National Day, with their work "El Capitolio de La Habana". The piece was delivered by Ambassador Beatriz Parra González, attending this nation from Finland, to the Director of Transatlantic Relations of the Estonian Foreign Ministry, André Lipand, during the festivities that took place in this capital. In a message sent to the Estonian president, the Cuban artists highlighted: "From this Havana, always alive and colorful, a cultural pretext to unite and celebrate art between both countries, receive a reproduction of our work at the Havana Capitol, made in in 2022 as part of the series "Havana that they have given me, Havana that I leave you".

Ambassadors of Cuba and Spain accredited in Estonia hold a dialogue

Cuban Ambassador, Beatriz Parra González, held a courtesy meeting with the Ambassador of Spain in Estonia, H.E. Guillermo Corral. During the metting, Parra expressed Cuba's interest in participating in "Iberofest", the cultural event of the Ibero-American embassies accredited in Estonia. Both authorities dialogued about issues of interests in the agenda local and about the relationship of Latin America and the European Union. The Cuban diplomat appreciated H.E. Guillermo Corral warm welcome and kind generosity.

The Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, received Juha Pekka and Jiri Mäntysalo, friends of Cuba and militants of the Finnish Communist Party, SKP, according to its acronym in Finnish. During the dialogue, both parties discussed interesting proposals on issues of importance to Cuba and initiatives to be developed jointly. 

Young Cuban-Finnish soccer player dreams of competing with Cuba

In a pleasant meeting, Ambassador Beatriz Parra González received the young soccer player Samuel Mahlamäki, a special member of a Cuban-Finnish family. During the exchange, Mahlamäki was interested in learning about Cuba, which he has called "his second homeland" and the possibilities of competing under its flag in the future. Present at the appointment, the Consul Adalberto Ávila Parra, commented the steps to follow to complete the requirements established by INDER for this.
