Authorities from Cuba and Lithuania hold a dialogue on communication and cultural diplomacy
The Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González held a meeting with the Deputy Director General of the Department of Communication and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Jurgita Germanavičienė. The meeting addressed issues of communicational and cultural interest for both countries. The diplomat was interested in learning about Lithuania's experience in the field of strategic communication, for the dismantling of disinformation campaigns, an area that also affects Cuba, since the beginning of the Revolution.
Presents Copies of Style Ambassador of Cuba in Lithuania
The Ambassador of Cuba in Lithuania, Beatriz Parra González, attending from Helsinki, presented this Wednesday her style copies to the Director of Protocol of the Foreign Ministry, Petras Zapolskas. In the exchange, the Lithuanian Director explained to the Caribbean diplomat the main moments of the protocol ceremony, and discussed issues of interest to the Diplomatic Corps accredited in this capital. The Cuban Ambassador thanked the authority for the reception received and the quality of the program organized for this accreditation visit.
Cuban Ambassador is received at the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry
During her initial work day in Lithuania, Ambassador Beatriz Parra González was received by the Director of Global Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andrius Bruzga. At the meeting, both parts reviewed issues on the bilateral agenda. The diplomat highlighted issues of the Cuban reality, particularly the impact of the blockade on Cuba, and signified Lithuania's support in denouncing this cruel policy. Likewise, she appreciated the welcome offered to Vilnius.
In the presence of ICAP directors, the 60th Anniversary of the Finland-Cuba Association was celebrated
The Embassy of Cuba in Finland lived a special evening this Saturday, with the reception offered on the occasion of the visit of the Director of Europe of the Cuban Institute of Friendship for the Peoples (Icap), Rigoberto Zarza, and the 60th Anniversary of the Finland Cuba-Suomi-Kuuba-seura Association. A joy to receive friends from Helsinki, Turku, Tampere and Kotka, among other cities in Finland. Also to those who came from Estonia to share the joy of the reunion with Cuba. An opportunity to receive the Director of Latin America and the Caribbean at the Finnish Chancellery, H.E. Mr. Lasse Keisalo, and his wife, and other diplomatic authorities.
ICAP delegation is received in Finland
The Cuban ambassador, Beatriz Parra González, and part of the board of the Finland-Cuba Association received this Friday the Director of Europe at the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), Rigoberto Zarza, and the colleague Elizabeth Rivalta, coordinator of care for the Nordic and Baltic countries. Subsequently, the Association sponsored the first exchange in which ICAP directors presented the results of the Nordic Solidarity Meeting with Cuba, held in Oslo, Norway, the previous week.
