We commend the ambitious targets set for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, including increasing the use of renewable energy sources to generate 90% of the country’s electricity and developing comprehensive climate action projects, implemented through Kenya’s National Climate Change Action Plan (2023-2027).

We welcome the delegation of Spain and acknowledge the country's commitment to the Universal Periodic Review. We view positively the adoption of the Strategic Framework for Citizenship and Inclusion, combating Racism and Xenophobia (2023-2027), and Law 15/2022, which enabled the establishment of a Prosecutor's Office dedicated to addressing hate crimes and discrimination.
