In commemoration of the International Day against Unilateral Coercive Measures, Cuba denounces the blockade and the threat of military aggression against Venezuela
Cuba participated in the Special Conference held to commemorate, for the first time, the International Day against Unilateral Coercive Measures. During the event, Ambassador Rodolfo Benítez emphasized that Unilateral Coercive Measures (UCMs) are illegal under any circumstances and, therefore, unacceptable. He highlighted that nothing justifies the imposition of such measures, and thus they must be eliminated immediately and unconditionally. In this context, the diplomat condemned the criminal economic blockade imposed by United States.

The Cuban Office of Industrial Property (OCPI) was represented at the Roundtable on South-South Cooperation in Intellectual Property, held on November 13 and 14 at the headquarters of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva. The Cuban delegation was headed by Lyan Marsans Castellanos, Head of the Department of Legal Advisory and International Relations of the OCPI.

Speaking at the Plenary Session on Reform Process of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Chargé d'Affaires Rebeca Hernández Toledo reiterated the importance of multilateralism, inclusivity, and transparency in the WTO, as well as the defense of decision-making by consensus, as established in the Marrakech Agreement.
