The Cuban people and the international community are aware of the dishonest campaign that the government of the United States has launched since 2019 to discredit Cuba’s international medical cooperation; exert pressure on the governments that have asked for it and deprive peoples of these health services.

The Ambassador of Cuba to Ghana, Pedro Luis Despaigne González and the Registrar of the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat of the host country, Mr. Kingsley Agyemang, held a fruitful meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
Both parties addressed issues of bilateral interest and agreed to continue working to strengthen cooperation ties in the field of professional preparation carried out by Ghanaian students and professionals at Cuban Medical Universities.
