Condemns the blockade of USA towards Cuba
The economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba for almost six decades is the most unjust, severe and extended system of unilateral sanctions ever applied against any country. Cuba will not give up its principles nor will it cease its claims to totally eliminate the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America. Therefore on 31 October 2018 the Cuban government will denounce the tightening of this policy and will once again present to the UN General Assembly the draft resolution entitled “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba”.

Cuban professor gave a Master Lecture at event on Hellenism, Greece
Athens, May 18. The Dra Elina Miranda Cancela, Professor of philology and classical tradition, from the Faculty of Arts and Letters of the University of Havana, gave a keynote speech that opened in Athens, the event entitled "One hundred years of dialogue, Latin American approaches to Hellenism", organized by The Gennadius Library of The American School of Classical Studies in Athens, Greece from 18 to 20 May.

Emotional and intense tribute to Fidel in Athens
Last May 8, it was held an emotional and intense tribute to the Commander and chief of the Cuban revolution Fidel Castro Ruz in Athens, Greece, in an activity that gathered more than 330 people from all areas of Greek society, toghether with Cuban resident . The legacy of Fidel and his example of tireless fighter for Cuba and Mankind , will last forever in our hearts.
