Athens, 27 November. The Jose Martí Cultural Association of solidarity with Cuba organized an event to condemn the unfair economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba, in the Cinema theater "Studio" of the company New Star Art Cinema of the friends of Cuba Velisarios Kossivakis, in what his wife the Cuban resident Leticia Suarez also helped. An Act of tribute was held to Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, on the third anniversary of his departure, organized by Cuba's friend Velisarios Kossivakis, with the contribution of his Cuban resident wife Leticia Suarez, and the Embassy of Cuba in Greece, at the Cinema Theater “Studio” from the company New Star Art Cinema.
The Cuban ambassador to the Greek country Zelmys María Dominguez Cortina, the professor of modern history at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Thessaloniki Giorgos Margaritis, presented by Velisairos Kossivakis, took the floor at the event. In addition, the documentary "The Merit is to Be Alive" by Oto Miguel and Guzmán Guerrero was screened, and excerpts from historical speeches by Fidel Castro.

Athens, 22 November. The Deputy Minister in charge of Economy of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs Konstantinos Fragogiannis received at the headquarters of the Ministry the ambassador of Cuba in Greece Zelmys Maria Dominguez Cortina. The meeting covered the historical links between the Cuban and Greek peoples, as well as topics of mutual interest to promote bilateral relations in various areas such as tourism, biotechnology, sports, among others. Also the potential of business and investments in Cuba and the preparation of a possible Business Forum on the Caribbean island with the participation of Greek entrepreneurs. The good level of relations between the two countries was appreciated.
