Athens. February 4. Parliamentarians from the Friendship Group with Cuba of the Hellenic Parliament, headed by their President George Amiras, received at the parliamentary headquarters the ambassador of Cuba in Greece Zelmys Maria Domínguez Cortina and the Councillor of the Embassy José Oriol Marrero Martinez, who both offered interesting information about the current situation in Cuba.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Plurinational State of Bolivia announced the decision of the putschist Government to suspend diplomatic relations with the Republic of Cuba, claming that the Cuban Government has systematically affected bilateral relations and has been hostile towards the Bolivian authorities.

Athens, 25 January. The magazine "Selidodaiktis" for education and society organized in Athens an important event on "Education and scientific advances of the Cuban people: an experience worth discussing”. The documentary Maestra, by journalist Catherine Murphy, about the literacy campaign in Cuba was screened, and the filmmaker was interviewed on Skype. In addition, Giota Ioanido, responsible for the magazine's editorial commission; Zelmys Maria Dominguez Cortina, Cuban ambassador to Greece; and Natasa Terlexi, of the José Martí Cultural Association of Friendship with Cuba were also spoken.

Athens, January 20: On January 19, Diethnes Vima (International Forum), which has published multiple books on Cuba, organized a discussion on the validity of the Havana Declarations (1960 and 1962) in today's world, in greeting the 61st anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban revolution. Between the presentations and the interesting discussion, the floor was taken by a representative of the publishing house, the ambassador of Cuba in Greece Zelmys Maria Dominguez Cortina, the counsellor of the Embassy José Oriol Marrero Martínez, the president of the Hellenic Cuban Association of Friendship Nikos Karandreas and Natasha Terlexi of the publishing house and the José Marti Cultural Association.
