Solidarity Movement reaffirms support for Cuba in meeting with diplomats in Grenada
St. George, February, 26 - Cuba's ambassador to Grenada, Yadirys Echenique Paz, and the consul in that country, Ariel Pazos Ortiz, received representatives of the Solidarity Movement with Cuba at the diplomatic residence. The group was led by Dr. Terence Marryshow, a close friend of the Cuban people. The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere and reaffirmed the fraternal ties that have united the two nations for decades.
Senator Andre Lewis denounces U.S. blockade and calls for solidarity with Cuba
Andre Lewis, general president of the Technical and Allied Workers Union of Grenada, has urged the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) to strongly condemn what he describes as “barbarism” by the United States against Cuba. In a public statement, Lewis denounced the blockade of oil and essential goods as a criminal and inhumane act that threatens the lives of millions of Cubans.
