The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Bangladesh strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Cuban Embassy in Washington, USA. In a statement to the press today, September 26, 2023, CPB President Md. Shah Alam and General Secretary Ruhin Hossain Prince said that the terrorist attack on the Cuban embassy in the diplomatic area of Washington, the capital of the United States, on the night of September 24 is a matter of great concern.

Cuba and Bhutan celebrate the 12th anniversary of bilateral relations.

Cuba and Bhutan celebrate the twelfth anniversary of diplomatic relations, established on September 26, 2011. Since then, both countries have strengthened the ties of friendship, collaboration and dialogue. Cuba is proud to have contributed, from its humble possibilities, and very modestly to the social development of Bhutan with the granting of scholarships for the study of medicine.

Last week the second Kolkata International Film Festival concluded, in whose program the Cuban film “Habanastation” was presented twice. The film was shown with wide attendance and reception from the public and was included along with other Latin American productions. The festival held in Kolkata, capital of the Indian state of West Bengal, is organized by the Federation of Indian Film Societies and has the support of the Academy of the Hindi Hispanic Language in this country.

Communist Party of India condemns terrorist attack against Cuban Embassy in the United States

The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India issued a statement on September 26 in which it strongly condemns the terrorist attack against the Cuban Embassy in Washington and demands the United States Government to take immediate action against the perpetrators. The statement recalls that this is not the first attack against the Cuban embassy in this city, which is why the current events require an even stronger condemnation.
