Cuba and India hold Bilateral Political Consultations

Havana, June 27, 2022 - The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, and her Indian counterpart, Secretary (East) Saurabh Kumar, agreed in evaluating as fruitful the Bilateral Political Consultations held on Monday, June 27, in Havana.

Cuban Embassy pays tribute to Gandhi.

The Cuban Embassy visited the National Gandhi Museum, dedicated to the life and work of Mahatma Gandhi, leader of the Indian independence movement. As part of the visit, they held a meeting with Tara Gandhi Bhattacharjee, director of the Museum and Gandhi's granddaughter, with whom they exchanged and agreed on the universal and humanist scope of his figure, an example for those who aspire to a fairer world for all.

Cuban Ambassador presents credentials to the Kingdom of Bhutan.

Cuban Ambassador Alejandro Simancas Marin presented on June 8 his Letter of Credentials to His Majesty the King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, in a traditional and colorful ceremony held at the Royal Palace of Tashichhodzong in the capital city of Thimbu.
