Cuban ambassador to Iran denounces Israel’s impunity

The Cuban ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Alberto González Casals, denounced the unpunished actions of Israel in complicity with the United States in an interview published by PressTV.  “Israel acts with impunity with the complicity of the United States. Every moment of impunity of action, passivity, double standards or silence will cost more innocent lives in the besieged Gaza Strip,” the ambassador stressed.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel meets with Iranian Vice President

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel met on Wednesday with Iranian Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy Ruhollad Dehghani Firouz Abadi, who is visiting Havana to participate in the G77+China Summit. The Cuban head of State confirmed that during the meeting, the excellent state of bilateral relations, strengthened by Presdent Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi’s recent visit to Cuba, was confirmed. Diaz-Canel described the visit by the Iranian Vice President as an expression of the political, economic, commercial and international relations between the two countries.

Iran and Cuba celebrate 44 years of diplomatic relations

Cuba's Ambassador to Iran, Alberto González Casals, celebrated the 44th anniversary of the beginning of relations between both countries on Tuesday. Casals described the relations between the two States as “relations of friendship and cooperation for the benefit of both peoples.” Cuba and the Islamic Republic of Iran have maintained uninterrupted diplomatic relations since August 8, 1979.

President Diaz-Canel to meet with Iranian counterpart

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Thursday met with his Iranian counterpart Seyed Ebrahim Raisi who is presently paying an official visit to Cuba. Prior to the meeting, both leaders toured the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, where President Raisi was able to learn about the work of Cuban scientists, the country’s progress in biotechnology, as well as potential for mutual development in this sector.

Cuba, Iran express willingness to strengthen bilateral cooperation

Senior Cuban and Iranian officials expressed their willingness to continue strengthening bilateral cooperations during a business forum held in Havana. The majestic event, which has been briefly attended by Iranian President confirmed Cuban interest in progressing in innovative and mutually beneficial businesses for the economic and social development of both nations, the First Deputy Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Ana Teresita Fraga stated, while explaining that both countries are determined to work on actions that help to increase Iranian entrepreneurs´ interests in Cuba.
