Minister of Education of Jamaica meets with Cuban teachers
Kingston, Jamaica, 26 October 2020. As part of her tour of schools in Jamaica, the Minister of Education, Fayval Williams, met with Cuban teachers who teach at Seaforth Elementary School, in St. Thomas parish.
The Jamaican official expressed her gratitude to Cuban teachers for the ingenuity and versatility they have shown in the performance of their duties in a context marked by a complex epidemiological situation.

Sunday Sun, the official newspaper of the People’s National Party in Jamaica, published today a review of the statements of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, on the occasion of the presentation on October 22 of the Report by Cuba on resolution 74/7 of the United Nations General Assembly "Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba."
Minister of Education of Jamaica officially welcomed a new group of Cuban teachers
Kingston, Jamaica, 23 October 2020. The Minister of Education of Jamaica, Fayval Williams, officially welcomed 18 new Cuban teachers who will teach Spanish and exact science lessons in various schools on the Caribbean island.
The new Cuban teachers join other 68 who serve in Jamaica under the Agreement for Cooperation in Education for Professional and Academic Support, signed between the Ministries of Education of Cuba and Jamaica.
