Dozens of Cubans donate their blood to the Pediatric Hospital of Jamaica
Kingston, Jamaica, June 17, 2022. Between yesterday and today, some 22 members of the Cuban State Mission in Jamaica –including officials from the Embassy and Cuban collaborators in Health and Education– staged a massive donation of blood, within the framework of World Blood Donor Day, which is commemorated on June 14 of each year.
At the National Blood Bank in this capital, 17 members of the mission voluntarily donated their blood, while another 5 donated in other parishes on the island.
From Jamaica tribute to two national heroes of Cuban history

This Saturday, before the bust of the Bronze Titan that stands in the National Heroes Park of Jamaica, fifty Cubans and brothers from Jamaica and other nations paid tribute to two great our History: Lieutenant General of the Liberation Army Antonio Maceo Grajales, and the Heroic Guerrilla Fighter, Commander Ernesto Guevara de la Serna.
Cuba and Jamaica recognize potential for cooperation in agriculture and fisheries

The Cuban Ambassador Fermín Quiñones Sánchez visited the Jamaican Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries this morning, where he had a fruitful exchange with the head of that ministry, the Honorable Pearnel Charles Jr., the Minister of state Franklin Witter, and other senior officials of that entity.
Cuban Ambassador and Prime Minister of Jamaica advocate strengthening bilateral cooperation
Kingston, Jamaica, 25 May 2022. On the morning of this Wednesday, the Cuban Ambassador Fermín Quiñones paid a courtesy visit to the Right Honorable Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica.
Both parties agreed on the historical nature of the relationship between Jamaica and Cuba, and on the importance of deepening and strengthening cooperation and exchange between the two Caribbean islands.
