Vice President of the Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica remembers Fidel during the activity dedicated to the 94th Anniversary of his birth
Kingston, Jamaica, 17 August 2020. The Solidarity Movement with Cuba in Jamaica celebrated this Sunday the 94th Anniversary of the birth of Fidel Castro Ruz. A combination of creativity and the will to honour the Commander-in-Chief of the Cuban Revolution, was the key to overcoming the physical distancing imposed by Covid-19 and developing a wide, varied, political-cultural activity via Internet, attended by about 20 speakers and marked by the projection of videos about Fidel and his relationship with Jamaica and the performance of prestigious artists.

Cuban Embassy in Jamaica celebrates Fidel's birthday
Kingston, Jamaica, 13 August 2020. The collective of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Jamaica celebrated this Thursday the 94th anniversary of the birth of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz. The political-cultural-recreational activity was held at the Embassy´s headquarters by a small group of participants in observance of the measures adopted to control the spread of Covid-19.

Kingston, Jamaica, 6 August 2020. The Head of the Cuban State Mission in Jamaica, H.E Ambassador Inés Fors Fernández, was received yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica by Permanent Secretary, Ambassador Marcia Gilbert -Roberts.
During the meeting, which took place in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, the officials reviewed the main issues on the bilateral agenda and acknowledged the positive state of relations between the two nations.
