This is a complex situation that is being closely followed by the Cuban government and has multiple causes.

Kenya and Cuba pledge further cooperation in medical fields
Nairobi, March 22, 2022- Kenya and Cuba have pledged to enhance cooperation in the health sector as part of ongoing efforts by the Kenyan government to further improve quality and access to primary health care.
A meeting between Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe and Cuban ambassador to Kenya, Juan Manuel Rodriguez, on Tuesday, resolved to expand further diplomatic engagement in the health sector for the benefit of the two nations.

Electoral Constituency in Kenya holds process of consultation on the new Family Code Draft Bill
Kenya, March 18, 2022- Today the electoral constituency in Kenya held the meeting related to the consultation of the new Family Code draft bill. All members of the Cuban Medical Brigade who serves in the African country, cooperators of the LABIOFAM team and the Cuban staff of the Embassy in Nairobi took part in the debates.
