On 03/23/1988 one of the most glorious pages of #Cuba's internationalism in Africa was written. The victory of Cuito Cuanavale was decisive in the defeat of Apartheid in South Africa, in the Independence of Namibia and in the consolidation of peace and sovereignty in Angola.

Invited by the brother Ambassador of Palestine to Kuwait, HE Remi Tahboub, we attended, together with colleagues from the Diplomatic Corps and other invited persons, a Palestinian products festival for products coming from Palestine.

It was an honor to visit the Diwaniya of Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, a distinguished member of the Kuwaiti royal family and politician, as part of the celebrations for the holy month of Ramadan. We had a brief and pleasant exchange about the mutual affection that our two peoples feel each other. We also greet former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Al-Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, left, whose Diwaniya we visited days ago.
