At the Cuban diplomatic headquarters, Cuban Ambassador Enna Viant Valdés recalled the significance of the month of October for all Cubans and friends who feel Cuba in their blood, and mentioned two important events: the beginning of our independence struggles and the vibrant notes of our national anthem, which were sung for the first time.

Amphaivonne Loumbounpeng.
Selection of the "Our Friend Martí" Contest Ends
Vientiane , October 2023. Representatives of the Friendship Association, the Lao National University, and the Cuban Embassy, held fruitful exchanges to analyze the Contest works presented by students under the title "Our Friend Martí", which will be awarded soon on October 20, Cuban Culture Day. Arduous days of work, debates, resulted in the good proposals that demonstrated skills and knowledge on the life and work of the National Hero, the most universal of all Cubans.
