Positive visit of the vice minister of the Ministry of Agriculture of Cuba in Laos ends Vientiane

From May 6 to 11, the visit to Lao PDR, of the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture (MINAG) of the Republic of Cuba, Maury Hechavarria Bermúdez, took place to strengthen agricultural cooperation- livestock. The interview took place in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere during which both parties promised to promote cooperation ties and find new ways to strengthen them.

The Cuban ambassador pays a courtesy visit to the Lao Minister of Justice
Vientiane, May 3, 2023. The Lao PDR Minister of Justice, Mr. Payvy Siboualipha, received a courtesy visit from the Cuban Ambassador Enna Viant Valdes, at the headquarters of his ministry.
Both parties ratified the historic and friendly relations maintained over more than four decades and underlined the need to continue identifying other niches for collaboration between the two countries, as well as they promised to expand the ties between both ministries.

A new milestone in interparty relations between Cuba and Laos was the first exchange between directors of theoretical magazines
Vientiane, April 30, 2023. Within the framework of the visit to Laos PDR by the high-level delegation of the Communist Party of Cuba, chaired by Cro. Roberto Morales Ojeda, a meeting was held between the directors of the theoretical magazines of the respective parties, “Cuba Socialista” and Äloun Mai”.
Both parties highlighted the usefulness of exchanging texts that address the successes and difficulties, the challenges and solutions found, in the common path of building socialism.
