Vientiane January 2024. Ambassador Enna Viant had a positive exchange with the Director General of the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Daovy Vongxay. The Cuban diplomat thanked Lao PDR for its support during the XIX NAM Summit held in Kampala, Uganda, an occasion on which support for Cuba was reiterated in its just condemnation of the U.S. economic, financial and commercial blockade against the island.

Vientiane January 2024 Ambassador Enna Viant participated in the Workshop for the review and analysis of data provided by UNICEF, linked to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Lao PDR. This event was an important effort in which different ministries such as Health, Education, the Lao Bureau of Statistics and other institutions are linked. Important exercise for the decision-making of the Government of Laos in order to achieve the ambitious goals and implementation of the SDGs and the guidelines of the 9th.

Vientiane, 2024. The Cuban delegation, headed by Vice-President Salvador Valdés Mesa, participates in the Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement held in Kampala, Uganda. Once again, Cuba condemns the Israeli genocide when it points out: "the just demands of the Palestinian people have always found decisive support in the NAM. It has never been more imperative to unite global efforts to stop barbarism."
