Monrovia, May 25, 2020 - On "Africa Day" the Charge d'Affaires of the Republic of Cuba in Liberia gives an interview to Radio Habana Cuba. In it, she refers to the Liberian culture and its reflection in the current society of that West African country.
The Cuban diplomat also reports on how "Africa Day" is celebrated in the Republic of Liberia.

Monrovia, May 25, 2020 - In an interview granted by the Cuban Chargé d'Affaires in Liberia, Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera, she referred to the role of Cuban solidarity in African lands and the commitment of the work team of the Cuban Embassy in that country.
She also evaluated the presence of Cuba in the heart of the African peoples and reviewed the historical footprint left by the Cuban doctors in West African lands during their fight against the deadly Ebola virus.

Monrovia, May 25th, 2020.- On May 25th, the world celebrates “Africa Day”. The date commemorates the creation, in 1963, of the Organization for African Unity, the seed of the current African Union.
This day is a reason for true celebration in Cuba due to the indestructible historical, cultural, solidarity and cooperation links between the island and the countries of this continent.
