Cuban Head of Mission participates in Launching of Dialogues on Peace, Security and Development in Liberia.
Monrovia, November 4, 2022 - Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera participated, along with members of the diplomatic corps, in the ceremony marking the launch of the Dialogues on Peace, Security and Development in Liberia.
The dialogue which was organized under the auspices of Liberia's international partners, including ECOWAS and others, aims to contribute to conflict prevention and risk mitigation in the run-up to the African country's general and legislative elections to be held in October 2023.

Monrovia, October 24, 2022 - Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera, Head of Mission of the Republic of Cuba in Liberia, met on Monday with the First Deputy Foreign Minister of the Liberian Foreign Ministry, Henry B. Fahnbulleh; a meeting where they updated aspects of the multilateral-bilateral agenda.

Monrovia, October 21, 2022 - The Cuban Embassy in Monrovia received the visit of the Deputy Minister of International Cooperation and Economic Integration of the Liberian Foreign Ministry, Hon. Abraham Korvah, who was accompanied by his subordinate directors.
The Liberian diplomats were received by the Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera with whom they held a fraternal meeting.
During the exchange, they discussed bilateral and multilateral issues of interest to both nations.
Cuban Culture Day Celebrated in Liberia.
Monrovia, October 20, 2022 - Cubans and Liberians celebrated today in Monrovia the National Culture Day as a tribute to the date when the notes of the Bayamo Anthem were sung for the first time.
With the national ensign displayed in “A'La Lagune” one of the best known centers in Monrovia, members of the Liberia-Cuba friendship group and friends of Cuba joined members of the Cuban Embassy to celebrate this significant date.
