The Liberia-Cuba Solidarity Group accompanies the Caribbean country after the effects of hurricane Ian.

Monrovia, September 27, 2022.- The Liberia-Cuba Solidarity Group accompanies the Caribbean country after the effects of hurricane Ian, which hit the western region, particularly the province of Pinar del Rio.

Several members of the solidarity group studied and graduated at the University of that western Cuban province, and currently two Liberian 6th year medical students are doing their internships in hospitals in that province.

Cuban Embassy in Liberia celebrates 62nd anniversary of the founding of the CDR.

Monrovia, September 26, 2022.- A few hours before the arrival of the Cuban Cederistas Day, the Cuban Embassy in Liberia celebrates the 62nd anniversary of the founding of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), a useful arm for the Revolution against those who unite with the pretension of dividing the Cuban people and liquidating its revolutionary work.

Assistant Minister for American Affairs receives Cuban Head of Mission at the Liberian Foreign Ministry.

Monrovia, September 20, 2022 - The Assistant Minister for American Affairs, Honorable Maxwell P. Vah, received in his office at the Liberian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Cuban Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.

During the meeting, the two officials discussed bilateral and multilateral issues of interest to both nations and the prospects for expanding ties for the benefit of both peoples.

The exchange took place in a fraternal atmosphere of mutual respect.

 

Diplomatic Mission of Cuba in Liberia holds Referendum on the new Code of Cuban Families.

Monrovia, September 18, 2022 - In the morning hours of today, the members of the Diplomatic Mission of Cuba in Liberia exercised their right to vote in the referendum of the new Code of the Families that took place, with all rigor and in compliance with the Electoral Law.

On this day, 123 electoral constituencies established for this purpose held the process in the foreign service.

Cuban Head of Mission signed the book of condolences for the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Liberia, September 15, 2022- On Thursday afternoon, the Cuban Head of Mission in Liberia, Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera, signed the official book of condolences, opened at the Embassy of Great Britain in honor of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The Cuban diplomat expressed heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family, the British government and people, on behalf of the Cuban government and people.

Her Majesty Elizabeth II passed away on September 8, 2022.
