Cuban film week opened at the University of the Philippines

Manila, April 13 - On April 11, the first edition of the Cuban film week was inaugurated at the film Institute of the University of the Philippines, under the initiative of the solidarity group with Cuba. PHILCUBA (Cultural Society of Friendship Philippines-Cuba)

According to its organizers, the Festival aims to spread knowledge about Cuba from its culture and contribute to adding voices in the Philippines to the solidarity campaign that the organization has carried out for more than 20 years.

Filipino friends pays homage to the leader of the Cuban revolution

Manila, April 12- The cultural and friendship association with Cuba, PHILCUBA, sponsored the launch of a book entitled "Fidel Castro and the Cuban Revolution" that reflects the reflections of Dr Francisco Nemenzo, former rector of the University of the Philippines and president of PHILCUBA and Mamiel Lurinaria, member of that organization on the Cuban revolutionary process and its significance in the struggles for justice of the progressive forces of the world.

Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Receives to Cuban Ambassador to Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, March 21 - The deputy secretary general for bilateral affairs of the Malaysian ministry of foreign affairs, Ambassador Raja Nurhirwan Zainal Abidin received the Cuban ambassador, Ibete Fernández Hernández on a courtesy call.

During the exchange, the parties discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral interest that contribute to the strengthening of relations between Cuba and Malaysia.

Malaysia and Cuba explore possibilities to develop business relationships

Kuala Lumpur, March 21 – The Ambassador of Cuba to Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández, held a working meeting with Khairul Annuar Abdul Halim, Director of Europe and Americas of the Malaysian Foreign Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).

The ambassador informed the Malaysian counterpart about the updating of the Cuban economic model and the role played by the promotion of investments in it, immediately invited Malaysia to be part of the group of countries that currently invest in the country or conduct business mutually advantageous with Cuba.
