Cuban ambassador present letters of credence to Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan, March 13 – The Ambassador of Cuba Ibete Fernández Hernández, presented to the Sultan of Brunei, Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'zzaddin Waddaulah the credentials that accredit her in the position before the Sultanate, with residence in Malaysia.

During the hearing, the Sultan sent greetings to Cuban President Raúl Castro and thanked Cuba for its willingness to contribute Cuban drugs and therapies to improve the health indexes of the Bruneian population suffering from diseases such as diabetes and cancer.

Ambassador of Cuba meets with Chancellor of Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan, March 13- The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Brunei, Ibete Fernandez held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade II, Dato Seri Paduka Haji Erywan bin Pehin Yusof, on occasion of the presentation of her credentials.

The parties reviewed the state of bilateral relations and agreed on the need to revitalize them with the signing of the agreements that are in negotiation.

Brunei Minister of Health receives Cuban Ambassador

Bandar Seri Begawan, March 13- The Minister of Health of Brunei, Dato Paduka Dr Haji Md Isham bin Jaafar, received a courtesy call by the Cuban ambassador to the Sultanate, Ibete Fernandez Hernández.

During the meeting, the ambassador handed over to the minister a copy of the letter of invitation from her Cuban counterpart to participate in the International Convention Cuba 2018 and the International Diabetes Congress to be held in December of this year.

Embassy of Cuba in Malaysia donate books on José Martí to the national library

Kuala Lumpur, March 9- On the occasion of the 165th anniversary of the birth of the Cuban National Hero, José Marti, the ambassador of Cuba to Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández, donated three books on his outstanding live and work, to the General Director of the National Library of Malaysia, Dato Nafisah Ahmad,

The ambassador expressed that the books will contribute to enlarge the knowledge of Cuba in Malaysia, through one of its most illustrious sons and to expand bilateral relations in the cultural sector.
