Cuba will never accept any preconditions or impositions

Allow me to reiterate to you Cuba’s support to your work at the helm of the United Nations and as a guarantor and advocate of international peace.

Cuban ambassador meets with minister in the Prime Minister's office

Kuala Lumpur, September 21st - The minister in the office of the prime minister in charge of parliamentary affairs, Dato Azalina Othman received a courtesy call by the ambassador of Cuba to Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández.

During the cordial meeting the parties addressed the ways to increase relations in the parliamentary sector. Likewise, the minister expressed her sympathies for Cuba and received from the ambassador an update of the situation in Cuba.

Cuba ambassador meets with chief minister of Selangor

Kuala Lumpur, July 10th – The ambassador of Cuba to Malaysia, Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández, was received on a courtesy call by Selangor's chief minister, Dato Seri Mohamed Azmin bi Ali.

During the meeting, the parties agreed on the possibilities that exist to extend the cooperation between the state and Cuba from the establishment of mutually advantageous businesses.

Communist Party of the Philippines condemns blockade of Cuba

Kuala Lumpur, July 4th - The Communist Party of the Philippines PKP 1930 expressed its support for Cuba and condemned the measures taken by US President Donald Trump to tighten the blockade of our country.

The statement signed by Secretary General Antonio Paris, denounces Trump's attitude to justify his actions with alleged violations of human rights in Cuba, when United States violates them daily at the territory that illegally occupies the Guantánamo Naval Base.

Cuba and Malaysia exchange on the development of parliamentary relations

Kuala Lumpur, July 4 – The ambassador of Cuba to Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández, received the chairman and vice-chair of the senate council of the Malaysian Senate, Dato Sri Khairuddin Abd Samad and Dato Mohd Suhaimi Hj Abdullah at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission.

During the meeting the parties addressed the need and possibility of closer parliamentary ties between Cuba and Malaysia, as well as the importance of having a mechanism of exchange that allows both countries to support each other in the forums of the sector.
