Ratifies Malaysia support against blockade
Kuala Lumpur, June 22nd - The Assistant Secretary of multilateral political affairs division at the Malaysian Foreign Ministry, Tengku Mohd Dzaraif, welcomed Cuban ambassador Ibete Fernández Hernández.
During the meeting the Cuban ambassador thanked Malaysia's response to the Secretary-General's note on the application of the blockade, and the Malaysian official reiterated Malaysia's support against blockade as in previous years, while defining as an step backward what has happened in Cuba-State relations United after the recent announcements by US President Donald Trump.

On June 16, 2017, US President Donald Trump delivered a speech full of hostile anti-Cuban rhetoric reminiscent of the times of open confrontation with our country in a Miami theater. He announced his government’s Cuba policy, which rolls back the progress achieved over the last two years since December 17, 2014, when Presidents Raúl Castro and Barack Obama announced the decision to re-establish diplomatic relations and engage in a process towards the normalization of bilateral relations.
Cuban Minister of Foreing Affairs will hold a press conference
The Minister of Foreing Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, who is paying a work visit to Austria, will hold a press conference in Vienna, on Monday, June 19th, at 4:00 p.m (10:00 p.m. - Cuba).
The Cuban Minister will address important and current issues related to Cuban foreing policy.
