Kuala Lumpur, June 1st - Dr Selvaraj Ramsamy, Undersecretary of International Relations at the Ministry of Human Resources of Malaysia, welcomed the Cuban ambassador to that country, Ibete Fernández Hernández.
During the meeting the parties discussed the participation of Malaysia and Cuba in the ILO's 106th International Conference and the best ways to coordinate positions. Both agreed on the need to maintain efforts to modify the working methods of the organization with a view to making it more democratic and inclusive.
Cuba's ambassador to Malaysia presents Cuban biotechnological potential
Kuala Lumpur, May 31st - The cuban Ambassador to Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández, presented business opportunities in the biotechnology sector to members of the Selangor Invest board, led by Dato Hasan Azhari HJ Idris, Chief Executive Director.
In the exchange after the presentation, Malaysian officials recognized Cuba's experience and results in the health sector and were interested in the functioning of the Cuban health system and the work carried out by Cuba to obtain the results it exhibits today.
Undersecretary of Americas of Malaysian Foreign Ministry Welcomes Cuban Ambassador
Kuala Lumpur, May 30 - The Undersecretary of Americas of the Malaysian Foreign Ministry, Dato Keneddy Jawan, received the Cuban ambassador in that country, Ibete Fernández Hernández, at the Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting the parties exchanged on topics of bilateral and multilateral interest and commented on the various projects being carried out to revitalize economic-trade relations between Cuba and Malaysia.
Cuba participates in Latin American festival in Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur, May 22nd- The Embassy of Cuba participated in the 9th edition of the Kuala Lumpur Latin American and Caribbean Festival, which took place on May 21 in Plaza Low Yat with the support of the city's mayor.
This Latin American party is organized by the ten embassies of the countries of our region and is one of the largest celebrated in Southeast Asia in terms of attendance.
The Latin American Festival began nine years ago on the initiative of Cuba and Venezuela.
