Namibia, April 22nd, 2021- The President of the Republic of Namibia, H.E. Dr. Hage Geingob, on behalf of his government, SWAPO and the Namibian people, sent emotional messages to Army General Raúl Castro and to the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, respectively, on the occasion of the 8th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba.
Namibia, April 15th, 2021- The President of Namibia, H.E. Dr. Hage Geingob, called on the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States Government against Cuba, in the annual State of the Nation Address, delivered at the headquarters of the Namibian Parliament, in Windhoek, capital of the country.
Namibia, April 9th, 2021- The Vice President of SWAPO, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Hon. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, received the Cuban Ambassador to Namibia, Sidenio Acosta Aday, at the headquarters of that organization.
Namibia, March 29th, 2021- Hon. Prof. Peter Katjavivi, Speaker of the National Assembly of Namibia, received Sidenio Acosta, Ambassador of Cuba to this African country.
Namibia, March 27th, 2021- More than fifty people, in about twenty cars, staged a caravan condemning the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba.
Namibia, March 17th, 2021- The Ambassador of Cuba to Namibia, Sidenio Acosta Aday, handed over to the Minister of Education, Arts and Culture of this African country, H.E. Mrs. Ester Anna Nghipondoka, and her Deputy Minister, H.E. Mrs. Faustina Namutenya, two letters of invitation from the Cuban Minister of Education, Ena Elsa Velázquez, for both of them to visit the Caribbean island when the epidemiological situation allows it.
Namibia, March 16th, 2021- H.E. Dr. Nangolo Mbumba, member of the SWAPO Political Bureau and Vice President of the Republic of Namibia, was received by the Ambassador of Cuba, Sidenio Acosta Aday, in the framework of the 31st Anniversary of the Independence of this African country, which took place on March 21st, 1990.
Namibia, March 5th, 2021- The Ambassador of Cuba to Namibia, Sidenio Acosta, and the Attorney General of this African country, H.E. Mr. Festus Mbandeka, held a fruitful meeting, where the state of bilateral relations was reviewed and ways to strengthen them were identified.

Namibia, February 26th, 2021- Cuban diplomats Aldo Fuentes and Juan Carlos Oliva, Second Secretary and Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Cuban Embassy in Namibia respectively, held a productive meeting with Audrin Mathe, executive director of the Ministry of Sports, Youth and National Service of this African country.
