INVITATION TO THE RADIO AND TV CONVENTION CUBA 2017
The Cuban Institute of Radio and Television invites executives, producers and experts in general, to participate in the Radio & Television Convention Cuba 2017, and International Expo-Fair which will be held on September 10-15, 2017 at the Palace of Conventions in Havana, Cuba, in order to promote the exchange of ideas, cooperation and commercialization of technology, products and services.

The Auckland Cuba Friendship Society applauds the recent UN vote against the U.S. blockade of Cuba where, for the first time, the U.S. and Israel abstained. The final vote against lifting the crippling 56-year blockade – the longest in world history – was 191 to 0, with two abstentions.

Historic Day – US abstains in UN Resolution condemning blockade on Cuba
The world witnessed today an exceptional event, when the UN Resolution condemning the embargo was approved with the support of the international community and no opposition. US Permanent Representative at the UN, Samantha Power, announced they were going to abstain and so they did.
Friends of Cuba in Dunedin demand the end of the US Blockade
Wellington, October 20, 2016. -Members of the Cuba Friendship Society in Dunedin, New Zealand, issued a statement denouncing the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba, demanding its immediate end. The document was published in the Otago Daily Times, one of the majors newspaper of this southern region.
