Cuba condemns the despicable accusation against the Leader of the Revolution

 

The Revolutionary Government condemns in the strongest terms the despicable accusation by the United States Department of Justice announced on May 20 and proclaimed for several weeks against Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, leader of the Cuban Revolution.

 

Kangamba, Africa Day in Zimbabwe, and Cuba's Resolve Against the US Threat

Harare, May 20, 2026 – Cuba celebrated Africa Day in Zimbabwe with a screening of the film “Kangamba,” which highlights the island's internationalist cooperation and its resolve to defend its homeland against threats of US military aggression.

A hundred guests, including representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Parliament, and ambassadors and diplomats from some twenty countries, attended the event at the Alliance Française in Harare, organized jointly by the Cuban and Angolan missions.

Harare, May 8, 2026 – The Zimbabwe Anti-Sanctions Trust (ZAST) today expressed its unwavering solidarity with the people and government of Cuba following the recent escalation of unilateral coercive measures by the United States government on May 1 and 7, 2026.

ZAST strongly condemns the intensification of the economic, financial, and commercial blockade, actions that cause suffering to innocent civilians, undermine national development, and violate the fundamental principles of sovereign equality, non-interference, and peaceful coexistence among nations.

He has simply chosen to lie. He contradicts the President and the White House spokeswoman.

It is impossible to hide the truth: On January 29, 2026, his President signed an Executive Order that threatened to impose tariffs on any country exporting fuels to Cuba.
