HIT welcomes Ambassador to Zimbabwe and emphasizes ties with Cuba

Harare, February 10, 2026 – The Vice-Chancellor of the Harare Institute of Technology (HIT), Professor Quinton C. Kanhukamwe, today praised the collaboration with Cuba in science and technology upon receiving Ambassador Susellys Pérez Mesa.

The relations between the two countries in the areas of higher education and innovation are mutually beneficial and aligned with the 2030 Strategy presented by President Emmerson D. Mnangagwa, stated the head of HIT.

This new act of cruelty will cause power outages in Cuban homes, hospitals, and schools, according to a statement from the solidarity association in this African country in the Indian Ocean.
